I always found Sinatra "Over rated", A big So what? I enjoyed an occasional "New York" or "My Way" (very occasional)
However, I heard the duet of "Mack the Knife" with Jimmy Buffet on Satelite radio and could only find it on this disk and figured I'd give it a shot.
Boy was I pleasantly surprised!
I have a VERY high end stereo setup and this is a great recording. (technically) that wasn't surprising
But the content is also impressive! I'm sure it was that I was enjoying the great mix of the other artists from Barbara Streisand to Chrissie Hynde to Willie Nelson.
Then I realized, I actually liked Frank too!
Maybe if you are a Sinatra devotee, this may not be the set for you. But if you want to give him a shot, this is the way to go! -- Never did like Frank..until this!
This projet was done for money. Frankie in his elderly state was in no condition to sing. I hated it! The first time I have been disappointed by Sinatra. I love his music but everyone is allowed a mistake or two now and then. Rest in peace maestro. -- Frank let me down!

These duets are wonderful. Sinatra had such style. There will never be anyone like him. The duets on these CDs are fabulous. The people who sing with Sinatra did a great job and the songs chosen were great. I would recommend this CD to anyone who is a Sinatra fan. -- This is a great CD
